Dr. Kim begins diagnosis and treatment with digital 3-D Cone Beam CT scan.
During dental school, Dr. Kim completed more than ten times the graduation requirements one year early, earning him a special waiver from the dean of the dental school to rotate full-time in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Jacobi/Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has taken extensive continuing education courses in restorative dentistry and oral surgery, implementing CAD-CAM technology to give his patients the best results.
Additionally, Dr. Kim has received training in IV sedation at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he worked with medically complex and high-risk patients in a special elective program during his senior year of dental school. Dr. Kim completed his post-graduate training at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA, where he completed a comprehensive didactic and clinical curriculum with the latest advances in esthetics, implant and restorative dentistry. Currently, Dr. Kim serves as a distinguished mentor to other dentists worldwide at the Kois Center. This training gives him the ability to handle all the necessary procedures for full-mouth rejuvenation with accuracy and skill.
Accurate diagnosis and treatment plan
Dr. Kim designs and mills your dental restorations in the office with the revolutionary CEREC machine.
Your first step is a thorough oral exam, digital X-rays and other diagnostic steps. These can include digital exterior and intraoral photos, 3D digital imaging with the digital scanner, periodontal evaluation, and simulations of your bite.
Dr. Kim explains his findings and the different treatment options available to restore your mouth. He’ll go over the pros and cons of each procedure and answer any questions you have. He lays his treatment plan out in steps so you can complete your treatment as fast or as slow as you like.
