New Patient

At your first appointment, Dr. Kim will complete a very detailed, in-depth clinical evaluation and consultation, which may take up to 90 minutes. This visit will involve full mouth diagnostics that may include the following:

• Digital x-rays
• 3D CBCT Scan (as needed)
• Intra-oral and extra-oral photos
• Individualized risk assessment for periodontal health (condition of gum/bone), dental health (condition of teeth & existing restorations), occlusion (jaw/bite function), and overall smile appearance
• Oral cancer screening
• DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection (as needed)
• Saliva DNA testing (as needed)

Dr. Kim will go over the results of the diagnostics and thoroughly address all your concerns on your dental health. He will then customize hygiene and treatment recommendations that best suit your priorities, budget, and lifestyle.
